Hitched Without a Hitch!!

Well, my friend's wedding is finally over!! I can't believe she is finally married!! The ceremony was loooooooong...but beautiful. It is amazing how it takes a whole year of planning and stressing and then it is just over in a day.
We had a great week of wedding events including a Spa Day for the bride and us bridesmaids. We had a huge dinner celebration a couple of nights before the wedding. The day of the wedding we went and got our hair done and rode to the church in a limo. After the wedding the entire bridal party and spouses took a VIP Limo Bus to Memorial Park and took some crazy pictures...and then hit two bars on the way to the reception. What a blast!!
The reception was amazing...very classy decor. It included a lot of food, a lot more booze, and dancing that should be illegal...lol. We did not leave until Midnight...and did not get to sleep until 2am. So, after being up from 6 am on Saturday to 2 am on Sunday...I did nothing but lay around and nap all day Sunday!!
The best of all was that my kids were excellent at the wedding and reception!! Skyler has been in a manic phase with very little irritability for the past couple of days. So, other than being very giddy and silly...and thinking he is John Travolta on the dance floor...he did very well. LOL. I wish you could have seen him...he was break dancing (thanks to his father) and everything.
I did add one pic of Skyler and I to the blog...need to add some more when I get the chance.
This morning Skyler was a bit more irritable. I am soooo not ready to lose the mood he has been in. It is like seeing the real Skyler through a window...and the window is closing. I really hate this disorder.
I just wish the cycles...the GOOD cycles...would last a little longer!! It was so much fun to see him be a "normal" kid and be happy. The depression is setting back in now...and there is nothing I can do but be there for him. This too shall pass.
